Sabre 200 EC (Fluroxypyr)

Sabre 200 EC is a systemic emulsifiable concentrate herbicide for the control of volunteer potatoes and woody plants as listed, for use in forestry, grass pastures, conservation, and industrial areas. Applied to actively growing plants, Sabre 200 EC gets to work fast — translocating through foliage to disrupt plant growth at its core.

How It Works

The active ingredient, Fluroxypyr, acts as a plant growth regulator — an "auxin mimic" — causing uncontrolled and disorganized growth in susceptible plants. Translocation occurs through foliar uptake, so this product must only be applied to actively growing plants with full leaf cover.

Application Guidelines

Sabre 200 EC can be applied by knapsack or tractor at approximately 250–300 litres of spray mix per hectare as a full cover spray to leaves and stems. It can be safely applied over the top of pine tree species later in the season where pre-plant spray applications did not achieve sufficient control.
