NUVOGON 480 EC is a systemic emulsifiable concentrate herbicide registered for the control of woody plants and weeds in forestry, grass pastures, and industrial areas. Reg. No. L6704 ACT 36/1947 | Herbicide Group Code O.

How It Works

The active ingredient Triclopyr is an auxin mimic (synthetic auxin) that kills target weeds by mimicking the plant growth hormone auxin (indole acetic acid). At effective doses, it causes uncontrolled and disorganised plant growth leading to plant death.

• Degradation occurs primarily through microbial metabolism; photolysis and hydrolysis also play a role
• Average half-life of Triclopyr acid in soils: 30 days
• Offsite movement through surface or subsurface runoff is possible due to moderate soil adsorption
